She lived it...she wrote it...she performs it!
Rona Mann began both her writing and acting career in her native New Jersey during the 1950s. Since that time she has graduated from Syracuse University's famed College of Performing Arts with two degrees, has appeared in summer stock, off-Broadway, and in professional repertory theatre, and has done numerous voiceovers for hundreds of radio and television commercials.
Rona lives on the coast of Rhode Island with her husband, a former radio personality and current voiceover talent in his own right; and a varied and unusual assortment of animals, both adopted and stray.
Additionally Rona is a freelance feature writer for a local newspaper, works with small business, teaches Adult Education courses, practices yoga, indulges in fitness classes, expresses her love of cooking, and a perpetually unfulfilled zest for travel and meeting new people in new places. She is also a proud Rotarian and Past President of the Rotary Club of Westerly, Rhode Island.
Her first book, "Ghosts Along the Road," chronicles this thirst for exploring the "roads less traveled" around the southeastern part of Connecticut and southwestern portion of the Rhode Island coast.
Rona has yet to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. She just wants to keep growing up, preferably vertically on this side of the grass.
